LANDSCAPE

In this series, I seek to challenge conventional perceptions of landscape photography by embracing abstraction and the unexpected. Rather than capturing the landscape in its traditional, recognizable form, I focus on the elements that make up the environment—the textures, patterns, and fleeting moments of light that often go unnoticed. My goal is to create visual experiences that invite the viewer to see the landscape through a new lens, where familiar scenes are transformed into abstract compositions of shape, color, and light.

By isolating details or distorting familiar landscapes, I aim to evoke emotion and curiosity rather than simply documenting a place. These images often blur the lines between the natural and the surreal, where unexpected angles, reflections, and patterns emerge, challenging the viewer to reconsider the essence of the landscape itself. What might appear at first as an ordinary scene—be it a forest, a coastline, or a desert—becomes a study in form, texture, and atmosphere, suggesting new ways of interacting with the world around us.

Through this approach, I hope to prompt a deeper connection to nature, not through its traditional beauty or grandeur, but through its subtleties and complexities. These abstracted landscapes are invitations to engage with the environment in a more intuitive, imaginative way, offering a fresh perspective on the world we think we know.
